registration will begin in the first week of February 2025. It is expected that the CUET 2025 exam dates will be announced soon. CUET UG 2025 will be conducted for 23 domain subjects, 13 languages and general aptitude test. CUET 2025 examinations will be conducted in May and June 2025 in CBT mode.
CUET UG 2025: National Testing Agency will commence CUET 2025 registration in the first week of February 2025 on the official website of NTA CUET UG at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/ or at cuetug.ntaonline.in. Candidates will have to fill up their online application form and at the same time, need to qualify eligibility criteria for CUET 2025-26 academic year. Moreover, while filling up CUET application forms candidates must check CUET mapping criteria very cautiously. Candidates can now take as many as five subjects only under CUET.
Earlier, UGC had released CUET 2025 changes, which included the deletion of CUET UG subjects, change of mode of examination, subject choice uniformity of duration and no. of questions. The number of subjects covered by the CUET exam has been reduced to 37 (13 languages, 23 CUET domain subjects, and general test) from 63. Deleted subjects include 20 foreign languages and six domain subjects (Entrepreneurship, Teaching Aptitude, Fashion Studies, Tourism, Legal Studies, Engineering Graphics).
The CUET UG 2025 examination is going to be held in CBT mode during the month of May/June 2025. According to the updates regarding CUET 2025, the exam is going to be held within a window period of more than 15 days. Official CUET UG notification is also expected to be declared in the first week of February 2025. Scores of CUET 2025 are going to be accepted by over 200 central, private, and deemed universities.
What’s new in CUET 2025?
As per the CUET UG latest updates 2025, the following are the proposed changes as announced by the chairman of the UGC:
Students can now attempt CUET UG exams in any subject, irrespective of the class 12th subjects.
CUET UG will be conducted only in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode.
The number of subjects for CUET has been reduced from 63 to 37. Removed subjects include Entrepreneurship, Teaching Aptitude, Fashion Studies, Tourism, Legal Studies, and Engineering Graphics.
All CUET subject tests will be conducted for a fixed duration of 60 minutes.
Admissions to programs whose subjects have been withdrawn will be under General Aptitude Test scores

When is the CUET 2025 Exam?
CUET UG 2025 would be held in May-June 2025 CBT mode. Official dates of CUTE UG and CUET PG would be released by the National Testing Agency very soon. A candidate must check the exam date of CUET, which would finally help him enhance his CUET score. The application for CUET 2025 would be released in February 2025.
